Position Overview: This position requires a dynamic and results-driven person to join our development team. This key position will focus on building and sustaining relationships with corporate partners to secure funding aligned with the agency’s mission and priorities. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in non-profit fundraising and donor engagement, with special emphasis on corporate partnerships.
Paid As: Salary, Exempt, Full-Time Employee
Hours of Operation: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM Friday

AGENCY EXPECTATION OF EMPLOYEE
- Maintain confidentiality of client, donor, volunteer, staff, and board information.
- Support the mission, vision and goals of Meals On Wheels, Inc. of Tarrant County.
- Represent Meals On Wheels in a professional manner at all times.
- Required to pass criminal background check and have a free and clear MVR.
- Contribute to other projects when necessary.
ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS
- Corporate Fundraising and Relationship Management - Develop and manage relationships with corporate partners to secure new and ongoing funding. This includes identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding corporate donors.
- Donor Portfolio Management - Develop and manage a mid-level to major corporate donors, ensuring personalized cultivation and stewardship efforts that result in long-term support.
- Proposal Development and Fundraising Strategy – Work with the Vice President of Development, creating and submitting corporate funding proposals. Craft clear and compelling fundraising materials that align with corporate donors’ interests and agency priorities.
- Revenue Goals - Work with the Vice President of Development, set and achieve annual corporate fundraising targets, including securing a minimum number of pre-determined new corporate partners each quarter and regularly report on progress toward financial goals
- Report and Record Keeping - Maintain accurate records of all donor interactions, leverage Raiser’s Edge donor management software. Ensure timely follow-ups and responsive communication with corporate donors.
- Networking - Proactively network with business leaders, attending relevant local and regional events to cultivate relationships that will expand the agency’s corporate funding base.
- Chamber of Commerce Engagement - Actively participate in local Chambers of Commerce events to network, build relationships, and raise the profile of the agency within the community.
- Special Events and Projects - Participate and support special events throughout the year, including those that engage corporate partners and be available for occasional evening and weekend events.
- Collaboration and Teamwork - Work closely with the Development team and leadership to ensure fundraising strategies align with agency priorities. Assist in planning special events and corporate engagement opportunities.
- Professional Development and Continuous Learning - Stay current on corporate giving trends, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), and cause marketing to innovate and improve corporate partnership strategies. Participate in relevant professional development opportunities to enhance skills in corporate relations and development.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Corporate nonprofit fundraising Preferred.
- Familiarity with donor engagement strategy, stewardship, and philanthropy Preferred.
- Strong networking skills and experience engaging with corporate partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Raiser’s Edge or equivalent CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 4 years’ professional experience in non-profit fundraising, corporate relations, or sales, with a proven track record of securing corporate funding.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and effectively present the mission of the agency to external audiences.
