Bay State Community Services is offering exciting Master’s Level Internship opportunities for graduate students in Human Services, Social Work, Counseling, or related fields. This internship provides hands-on experience working with diverse populations in [community, clinical, or educational] settings. Interns will gain practical skills in case management, counseling, advocacy, and program development while working under the supervision of experienced professionals in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with intake assessments, case planning, and service coordination for individuals and families in need of support.
- Provide direct services such as individual or group counseling, crisis intervention, and advocacy.
- Collaborate with supervisors to develop and implement client treatment plans and monitor progress.
- Participate in client outreach, workshops, and educational programming to promote community resources and services.
- Support data collection, case documentation, and reporting to ensure compliance with organizational standards and funding requirements.
- Attend supervision sessions, staff meetings, and training workshops to enhance professional development.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards as required by state and federal laws.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Human Services or any closely related Human Services field
Strong Computer Skills
Experience with systems (e.g. DMH, EEC, DCF) preferred but not required
Experience working with youth and families
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Additional skills with spoken and written languages are desirable
Ability to work a flexible schedule
