Description

Gestalt Community Schools is a system of K-12 college-preparatory charter schools in targeted Tennessee communities. GCS schools provide strong academic outcomes for their scholars through initiatives including meaningful community involvement. GCS catalyzes community leadership to help revitalize the neighborhood as it operates its schools in that community. Instead of debating whether education impacts the community or vice versa, GCS believes that the most effective method to support student achievement is an integration of education and community (a true "gestalt"). 


POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Bilingual Talent Acquisition Manager?helps ensure that the recruiting practices of Gestalt Community Schools attract the highest quality candidates.  We are seeking a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Manager who values our network’s four commitments to love radically, invest deeply, advocate boldly, and act purposefully. The ideal candidate will ensure the organization reaches its goal of recruiting diverse talent by developing and executing effective recruitment strategies.   


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract diverse candidates who align with the organization's commitments and values. 
  • Create and support systems to guide and track the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and onboarding practices, and update systems accordingly 
  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, selecting candidates, offer letters, reference and background checks 
  • Utilize various channels including LinkedIn, job boards, social media, resume databases, industry websites, subscription-based, and proprietary database resources  
  • Attract candidates through creative marketing and social media messaging by effectively communicating the employee value proposition 
  • Plan, attend, and participate in recruiting events and job fairs to attract quality candidates 
  • Cultivate relationships with potential candidates as the primary point of contact throughout the hiring process and effectively communicate Gestalt’s Commitments, missions, goals, and impact 
  • Manage relationships with hiring managers and serve as a thought partner in selecting the best possible talent for school teams  
  • Use data-driven approaches to optimize recruitment outreach  
  • Establish and maintain strategic community partnerships with relevant organizations, teacher certification programs, college and university, and other sources of prospective talent 

SKILLS 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to multitask, communicate effectively and meet deadlines  
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up and time management/prioritization ability 
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles. 
  • Ability to understand workflow processes, analyze, interpret, and comprehend detailed processes, reports, and procedures 
  • Must be a self-starter and comfortable with pioneering initiatives from start to finish 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems. 
Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree required 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, to include Spanish fluency, required 
  • Three (3) years of full life cycle recruitment experience, preferably in K-12 education 
  • Experience using various applicant tracking systems, sourcing software, and HRIS 
  • Previous experience developing and executing recruiting marketing and branding strategies 
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases, and professional networks. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to facilitate collaboration 
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
