Description
People and Culture Generalist (Recruitment)
MASS MoCA is looking for part-time, temporary, People and Culture (Human Resources) Generalist. The generalist will primarily focus on full-cycle recruitment efforts in support of the museum’s talent diversity and retention strategy. Additionally, the generalist will provide administrative support for the department’s operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Executes and manages, start to end recruitment to ensure an exceptional candidate experience, including;
- Working with managers to develop and maintain job descriptions
- Post jobs internally and externally, maintains posting and recruitment memberships
- Reviews applicants, pre-screens candidates, assists managers in building the interview process and assists in conducting interviews
- Acts as a liaison between managers and candidates by overseeing start to finish communication with applicants
- Builds applicant sources, including local community networking, and maintains recruitment sites for a culturally diverse and talented applicant pool
- Assists in the employee onboarding and training experience
- Works with the P&C team, as well as managers to schedule and track the academic credit internship program
- With colleagues in the People and Culture department, assist with administering and implementing various P&C programs, including but not limited to; performance management, workforce training and development, employee onboarding and communications, recognition and engagement
- Support the People and Culture Department in day-to-day operations administratively with filing, HRIS support, and other department functions as needed
- Utilizes data and analytics to design, generate and produce reports
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must have significant experience and proven success across a broad range of HR disciplines and practices, with a minimum of 3 years of experience preferred
- Proven success with full-cycle recruitment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, the ability to work collaboratively to build and maintain employee, manager, and community relationships
- Must be a detailed oriented problem solver, with strong decision-making, analytical skills and an ability to multitask in a changing environment
- Candidates must have experience working with diverse populations and evidence of a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office including word, Excel. Experience with HR databases or an HRIS system. (Preference for Paylocity experience)

Minimum Starting Rate: $25.00/hour (non-exempt )
