Summary: Support the Machine/Mold Maintenance Technician set-up, maintain, and make repairs to rotomolding equipment and molds needed to produce rotationally molded product.

• Duties/Responsibilities:
• Works from written & verbal instructions, including blueprints and manufacturing procedures. 
• · Understands & follows standard safety and manufacturing procedures. 
• Safely & correctly uses a variety of powered and manual hand tools, motorized hoists, gantries, welders, lathes, mills, forklifts, etc.
• Repair fixtures and/or jigs used in production for cooling or secondary operations of products. 
• In accordance with the machine manufacturer, perform preventative maintenance & repairs on machines and equipment throughout the facility.
• · Troubleshoot and correct machine-related issues as they arise. 
• · Demonstrates & shares technical knowledge with others in training.
• · Sustain a safe and clean workspace.
• · Other related duties as assigned or needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to work in a hotter than normal working environment.
• Ability to self-manage, take ownership, problem solve, and “think out of the box.”
• Understanding of basic mechanical systems/components
• Knowledge of how to safely use hand tools & related repair equipment
• Ability to read mechanical drawings or blueprints
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to weld is a plus
• Ability to operate a sit-down and stand-up forklift a plus.
• Weekend availability to perform machine maintenance as needed

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma, or equivalent combination of education & experience
• Prior experience with large equipment maintenance a plus
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment a plus

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to lift 60+ lbs. with team member as needed
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (3+ hours)
