Description

Tampa, FL - Ruffolo, Hooper & Associates, MD, PA (RHA), a private pathology group, is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time, board-certified Anatomic/Clinical Pathologist with fellowship training in Pulmonary/Thoracic Pathology. This position is based at Tampa General Hospital (TGH) and includes an academic appointment with the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. Responsibilities include teaching medical students and residents rotating through the hospital.


As one of the busiest transplant hospitals in the U.S., TGH boasts a robust interstitial lung disease program and a rapidly growing Cancer Center, providing a dynamic range of cases as well as opportunities for teaching and collaborative research.

The ideal candidate will be a productive pathologist with strong interpersonal skills and an interest in advancing the pulmonary/thoracic pathology field. The role involves a combination of general surgical pathology, frozen section pathology, and cytopathology, with ample opportunities for collaboration across various surgical pathology subspecialties.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited university
  • AP/CP Board Certification in good standing
