Our People division is expanding, and HR is looking for a highly engaged, motivated, and enthusiastic Recruiter. This role will report to the Head of HR and will provide recruiting and administrative support while assisting on projects designed to find and retain talent to drive long-term growth. Successful candidates will have experience in managing multiple open positions across Corporate, R&D, and operations through active sourcing (headhunting), screening applicant resumes, and coordinating and conducting interviews. Additional responsibilities will include the presentation of staffing metrics, researching industry trends, participating in virtual career fairs, and assisting with retention and general candidate pipeline generation.
This is a full-time, hybrid position located in our headquarters in Orlando, FL.
- Sourcing & Screening: Identify and engage potential candidates through various channels. Conduct phone and video interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
- Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Work closely with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs, develop job descriptions, and establish hiring timelines.
- Creative Recruitment Strategies: Implement innovative recruiting techniques to attract diverse talent and enhance our employer brand. Think outside the box to craft compelling job descriptions and outreach campaigns.
- Seamless Onboarding Process: Guide new hires from the offer letter stage through to their first day. Manage all aspects of the onboarding process, including offer letters, drug/background checks and MVRs.
- Team Communication: Coordinate with the management team to ensure a smooth transition for new hires, addressing any concerns and ensuring a welcoming start.
- Enhancing Candidate Experience: Continuously improve the onboarding experience, ensuring new employees feel valued and integrated into the team.
- Project Management and Compliance: Create and refine relevant assignments, including mandatory DOT compliance regulations, management training programs and employer branding initiatives to enhance the candidate experience.
- Metrics and Analytics: Track and analyze recruiting metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruiting strategies and initiatives, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 2-3 years of recruiting experience, with a focus on technical recruiting. Knowledge of transportation and DOT compliance is a plus.
- Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects in various locations while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
