CAREER OPPORTUNITYASSOCIATE ATTORNEY (Intake)

A reputable, fast-growing law firm practicing employment law is seeking to fill a full-time Associate Attorneys for its Pre-Litigation Intake Team. We are looking for confident, energetic, and sharp attorneys who are quick on-their-feet thinkers.


The area of practice is primarily labor and employment matters, exclusively on behalf of employees in California, with focus on wage and hour class/PAGA actions and single plaintiff employment lawsuits.


Title: Associate Attorney - Intake (on-site preferred; may consider hybrid on-site/remote)

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Glendale) - on-site preferred; may consider hybrid/remote

Hours: Full-Time

Salary: $100,000-$130,000+ (Commensurate with Experience)

License Requirements: Active California State Bar license required, with no disciplinary history.


Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct phone consultations with prospective clients (employees who have disputes with their current or former employers)
  • Answer prospective clients’ questions
  • Guide prospective clients through legal problems
  • Draft memoranda of consultations conducted
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards

Qualifications: 

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
  • Active California State Bar license, with no disciplinary history.
  • Plaintiff or defense side labor and employment experience is a plus but not required.
  • Great phone etiquette
  • Heavy note-taking and typing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills

other software.

Language Skills: Fluent in English (spoken & written). Spanish is a plus.
