JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Field Service Technician, your primary responsibility will consist of traveling to customer locations to preform new home inspections, oversee product installations, and troubleshoot installation issues while providing "Superior Service" to our customers. You will be expected to maintain accurate and effective communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism to boost customer retention and satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify measurements of new homes to ensure accuracy
- Conduct subfloor inspections to assess readiness for installation
- Inspect wall tile installations for quality and adherence to standards
- Respond to service and warranty requests promptly and efficiently
- Assist with product delivery as needed, ensuring items arrive in good condition
- Perform quality control checks and manage installations, as well as handle service and warranty claims
- Layout materials within homes according to specifications
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50lbs without assistance
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License
- Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time during inspections and installations
- Strong verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Ability to take direction effectively and work autonomously when required
- Prior experience in flooring or familiarity with RFMS software is preferred, but not mandatory
