JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Associate assists homeowners in selecting and purchasing interior finishes, ensuring a personalized and seamless experience in collaboration with their home builder or remodeling endeavors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible, in conjunction with the Sales Team, to ensure all of the needed documentation is prepared and ready to go for the design appointment.
- Responsible for budget information, color selections, take–offs, and any other paperwork provided by either the builder and/or the sales team.
- Works with each homeowner to select appropriate interior finishes, upgrading when appropriate.
- Ensure that the homeowner is satisfied with their choices.
- Follow-up with the homeowner to answer any questions or provide additional information as needed.
- Prepares product selection and payment documentation to forward to the Sales Team.
- Ensures documentation is complete, accurate, and turned in prior to the established deadlines for processing and ordering.
- Responsible for the customer experience in the showroom including the product merchandising, general upkeep, tidiness, and enforcing showroom policies.
- Responsible for the administration of the showroom including merchandising new selections into the showroom, removing discontinued lines, and product resets to keep showroom up to date.
- Responsible for updating showroom pricing grids with price changes and product additions/subtractions.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
