The developer is responsible for designing and building the systems required to deliver RxAnte's analytic products in a scalable manner. Strong analytic and SAS programming skills are required. The developer will work with the Data Services leadership and fellow developers to establish the architectural design patterns for our systems. The developer will build these systems by employing iterative and agile development techniques and modular code. In addition to designing and developing the systems, the developer will interact with clients and other teams to help build and maintain programs. We are looking for someone who loves to get deep into the details of individual projects, understands the overall picture and how the project fits into a vision, and develops code to support high value programs. This is a remote work position.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Work with Data Services leadership to develop and maintain processes and programs focused on program designs.
- Establish and maintain project-deliverable processes with an eye toward scalability and automation.
- Rework and enhance existing base code.
- Program client-deliverable projects using SAS and other software as required.
- Collaborate with external client's IT team to acquire client data, resolve client data issues, and understand their data environments.
- Other activities as needed.
- 2+ years of relevant/related experience in similar role
- Strong SAS coding experience and skill, including system design.
- Experience working with administrative health care data (e.g., commercial medical, hospital, and pharmacy claims, and Medicare or Medicaid data), healthcare informatics, or health care claims processing.
- Experience designing, constructing, and using large databases for product delivery.

- Ability to document using Atlassian (or similar) tools and work through requirements gathering.
- Strong communication skills with the ability and desire to engage with non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
