Description

  

The Financial Analyst position will be responsible for supporting decision making throughout the company by providing analysis of past performance, current markets, and future expectations.
 

Responsibilities: 

  • Create financial models and profitability analyses, and provide other ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed to support business leadership
  • Produce executive management reports on the consolidated business financial results and operational updates
  • Support monthly forecasting process and generate actual vs. budget status reports, explanation of variances, and forecasted expenses
  • Proactively participate in key analysis and continuous improvement efforts across all areas of the business.
  • Assist management team in the analysis of new capital investment proposals using cost/benefit analysis, cash flow modeling, scenario analysis and financial forecasts
  • Participate in budgeting and financial planning processes (Spending Control, Overhead rates, etc.).
  • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or a related field
  • MBA is a plus

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to understand the impact of operations on financial results
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to generate concise reports and verbal updates
  • Advanced excel skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Team player, a self-starter who is looking to grow professionally
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
