What You’ll Do:

The International Fulfillment Lead champions picking, packing, palletizing, and documenting orders placed by our retail and wholesale partners with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency. The International Fulfillment Lead is a dependable problem-solver, responsible for leading the activities required to safely and effectively fulfill orders to deliver an excellent customer experience. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads a team within the Shipping Department fulfilling orders placed by international and wholesale partners such as Robotshop and Chewy.
  • Picks, packs, and palletizes orders in a manner that meets the standards of our partners, customs, and international freight organizations.
  • Takes ownership of and pride in fulfilling all orders thoroughly, accurately, and timely.
  • Ensures that all internal and external paperwork is processed accurately and timely.
  • Coordinates activities with the Distribution/Warehouse Supervisor, Planning and Expediting Team, and Distribution Leads.
  • Evaluates the department plans and goals, ensuring that associates are set up accordingly.
  • Prepares, plans, and carries out work schedules, rotations, and line-ups as well as assigns associates to the necessary tasks/areas, ensuring continuous and efficient productivity.
  • Effectively communicates with other departments to ensure that objectives are achieved.
  • Assists in the training of new associates to establish methods to ensure standardized processes are followed.
  • Assists in quality-driven tasks such as identification, disposition, and recording of non-conforming materials and scrap.
  • Analyzes bottlenecks and aids in the cross-functional investigations that should lead to the elimination of ineffective processes.
  • Adheres to and supports all internal and OSHA-mandated safety standards, including the safe utilization of manual and powered material handling equipment.
  • Loads tractor-trailers and other vehicles.
  • Participates in inventory cycle counting activities.
  • Engages in 5S ("Sort", "Set In order", "Shine", "Standardize" and "Sustain”) activities.
  • Notifies the Supervisor, HR, and appropriate management of any safety, behavior, or performance issues.
  • Performs additional responsibilities when required                     
Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

  • A minimum of a GED or High School diploma
  • Experience in a Shipping Department
  • Must get certified to operate all power equipment within 60 days
  • Effectively contributes to a positive work environment and culture.
  • Must be an efficient worker that is organized and detail-oriented
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in other areas and departments as needed
  • Ability to create and promote a safe and healthy work environment 
  • Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Ability to maintain a professional atmosphere in a fast-paced environment with numerous interactions and interruptions
  • A high degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ability to motivate others
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with Team Members and colleagues
  • Comfortable with office pets (cats, dogs) 

Not Required but Nice to Have!

  • People Leadership experience
  • Shipping and Warehouse experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to G-Mail, Google Sheets, Docs, and Calendar
