North Easton Savings Bank Scholarship
The North Easton Savings Bank has long been committed to serving the local community. We pride ourselves on supporting the growth and success of the neighborhoods we serve. Our mission is to build lasting relationships, empower individuals, and promote the overall well-being of our community.
In line with this mission, we are proud to offer the North Easton Savings Bank Scholarship to graduating high school students who plan to pursue an undergraduate degree at an accredited institution beginning in the Fall 2025 semester. This scholarship is part of our ongoing commitment to invest in the future of young people and help them achieve their educational goals.
A total of sixteen (16) scholarships, each valued at $2,500, will be awarded to students currently enrolled in participating public high schools. All applications, including the required documents, must be submitted by Friday, May 2, 2025.
Eligibility Requirements:
- The student, their parent(s) or legal guardian(s), or an immediate family member must have been a customer of North Easton Savings Bank for a minimum of the last six (6) months to be considered.
- The applicant must be a graduating high school student who will be pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university in the Fall.
- The applicant must attend one of the following high schools:
- Brockton
- Carver
- East Bridgewater
- Mansfield
- Middleborough
- North Attleborough
- Norton
- Oliver Ames
- Plymouth North
- Plymouth South
- Silver Lake Regional
- Southeastern Regional
- West Bridgewater
- Whitman- Hanson
Additional Information:
- Relatives of Bank employees, Directors, and Corporators are not eligible to apply.
- The applicant must be a graduating high school student who will be pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university in the Fall.
All applicants must submit the following documents:
- Proof of Residency – Submit a copy of a utility bill (e.g., electricity, water) confirming your residency.
- Proof of Customer Relationship – Provide the most recent bank statement (all pages) from North Easton Savings Bank.
- Letter of Recommendation – A letter from your guidance counselor or teacher, on official high school letterhead.
- Essay – In one page, answer the following question: How do community banks benefit society, and how have they impacted your community.
- Completed Application – Submit a fully completed application along with the required supporting documentation.

Selection of Award Recipients:
The NESB Scholarship Committee will review applications and select recipients based on the following:
- Recommendation letter from your guidance counselor or teacher
- Your essay
- Your completed application
If selected, you will be notified by NESB via email. You will also receive details about the scholarship awards reception, where you will receive your award directly from the NESB Scholarship Committee.
