Description
The Senior Credit Analyst duties include researching and examining credit risks, assessing credit history, and approving or disapproving extension of credit. May work with Collections department. Bachelor degree preferred or 3+ years of related financial experience. This position will generally require a minimum of 2+ years in a Credit Analyst position. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions does require exercising some independent judgment. Reports to supervisor or manager.
Requirements
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent 3 to 5 years related financial experience preferred.
- Recommended time frame of 2+ years in Credit Analyst Position. Associate's degree or equivalent 2 to 5 years related experience preferred
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
- Exceptional PC skills, including proficiency in MS Office suite as well as customer applications and systems
- Must be self-motivated with strong initiative, accountability, and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
