Reports To: Field Technician Manager


GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Responsible for the delivery and installation of high-quality countertops, ensuring adherence to company standards and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load and unload countertops, backsplashes, and supplies daily.

• Assist the Lead Install Technician with the installation process, adhering to Classic Rock’s standards for the process.

• Utilize various fabrication and basic construction tools, including a tape measure.

• Maintain DOT medical certification status (if approved as a Driver).

• Complete a daily pre-trip form to report the state of the truck and other pertinent information.

• Notify Maintenance of vehicle issues via completion of a Google Maintenance Form.

• Adhere to Classic Rock standards for countertop installation.

• Report installation issues to the assigned Partner Support Specialist.

• Establish a relationship with the customer while on-site that reflects the image of our service-driven company.

• Leave the job site in better condition than its state upon arrival.

• Uphold Classic Rock Fabrication’s Core Values.

• Perform additional duties as requested by management.


Education/Experience:

• Six months to one year of related experience and/or training in the construction industry.


Language Skills:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.


Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• Ability to write and measure in fraction format.


Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Valid Driver’s License (required to drive Classic Rock vehicles).

• DOT Medical Certification (required to drive Classic Rock box trucks).


Physical Demands:

• The position will require the following physical activities on a regular basis: climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and handling.

• The maximum amount of weight required to be lifted will be approximately 1,000-1,500 pounds, aided by tools and other employees.

• Ability to drive a company-owned box truck.


Work Environment:

• Primarily indoors in a temperature-controlled environment and outdoors, exposed to changing weather conditions.

• The typical noise level for this job is moderate to loud, depending on the activity.
