Position Overview: As a Licensed Addiction Counselor at Heartview Foundation, you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals rebuild their lives. You will work alongside an experienced, supportive team to deliver high-quality clinical services to patients in substance abuse treatment. In this role, you will:

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions tailored to meet patient needs
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to guide personalized treatment plans
• Implement medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and harm reduction strategies
• Communicate effectively to ensure a high standard of patient care
• Show cultural competence and respect for the diverse backgrounds of our patients

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

• Licensure: Current Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) in the state of North Dakota.
• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Addiction Counseling
• Experience: Demonstrated experience in addiction counseling or substance abuse treatment.
• Clinical Skills: Proficiency in individual and group counseling, evaluation, and assessment; familiarity with medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and harm reduction.
