Description

JOB SUMMARY

This role is an integral part of the internal sales team working in partnership to resolve any customer issues and ensure the accuracy and timely processing of customer orders. This position processes a large volume of transactions and as such needs to be efficient, detail oriented, organized, and accurate. Proactive communication and follow-up are essential to the successful performance of this role.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • General clerical duties
  • Minimal customer service
  • Process incoming orders in a timely manner
  • Develop proficiencies in learning and processing cross-branded orders
  • Data entry for service orders and material listing sheets
  • Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered
  • Input orders into computer system
  • Store complete documents in appropriate locations
  • Locate and correct data entry errors or report them to supervisors
  • Analyze presented information to identify potential problems or discrepancies prior to entry
  • Read and understand incoming POs and align POs to quotes and project drawings
  • Transmitting POs to vendors
  • Regular and reliable attendance

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Minimum 2 years of professional workplace experience.
  • High attention to detail, establish priorities, meet deadlines, multi-task effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A high degree of proficiency with computer software is a must.
