The Membership Services Specialist contributes to the success of the Chamber by growing the membership base through dues collections, managing member portal utilization, and health insurance product optimization. The Membership Services Specialist will ultimately be responsible for maximizing member retention.
- Serve as liaison with finance on membership renewals
- Contact all past due members (email and phone), send renewal invoices as requested, and record on target list and in Salesforce
- Keep CRM current with member information
- Send “Thank you for renewing” emails on monthly basis
- Build and maintain membership process and relationships for Chamber Care Health Alliance (CCHA) members and brokers
- Execute and manage application activation process for CCHA members
- Process Member exit surveys
- Assist in training of interns hired to verify database
- Help with front desk coverage, including processing of Certificates of Origin (as needed)
- Assist finance team with cancellations (as needed)
- Conduct monthly and quarterly Anthem Audits
- Other duties as requested by supervisor
Principal Accountabilities
- Program Management
- Meet or exceed retention goals
- Manage monthly systems for retention activities
- Maintain comprehensive retention strategy
- Chamber Representative
- Positive and productive relationship with all Chamber staff and members
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM
- A.A./A.S. in business, communications, marketing, or a related discipline; B.A./B.S. preferred.
- 2-3 years customer service experience preferred.
