JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an Assistant Field Superintendent to join our team. This is an entry-level role perfect for a self-starter who is eager to learn, enjoys hands-on work, and thrives in a collaborative environment. The Assistant Field Superintendent will support the Field Superintendent in ensuring job sites are prepared, organized, and ready for installations. This role involves cross-training in multiple materials, including cabinets, flooring, wall tile, and countertops, to build a strong foundation for future growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist in ensuring job sites are ready for installations by coordinating materials and verifying readiness.
- Conduct quality checks on completed installations under supervision.
- Support the management of job sites to ensure tasks are running efficiently and on schedule.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with installation teams and builder partners.
- Perform basic site inspections, such as checking concrete floors and trade readiness.
- Learn and assist with service items when needed.
- Help ensure safety protocols, including OSHA regulations, are communicated and followed.
- Preform touch-up and adjustment work as needed.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable vehicle
- No prior experience required, but willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive working relationships.
- Hands-on approach to problem-solving and completing tasks.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to stand, move, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
- Must lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to discern differences in material quality and detail.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Job sites with varying conditions.
- May require meeting tight deadlines.
- Exposure to general construction environments.
