Adventurous Journeys Capital Partners (“AJCP”) is seeking a Master Data Manager to ensure data integrity across our firm’s various databases and support its rapid growth across various investment platforms focused on the hospitality, mixed-use, and single-family rental sectors.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Master Data Manager will play a critical role in ensuring data integrity across our firm’s various databases and workstreams. Working closely with our accounting, finance, legal, tax, and transaction teams, this individual will lead the onboarding of new investments, loans, funds, and other entities as applicable into our legal, finance, accounting, and tax systems and databases, ensuring accurate and comprehensive data capture and management throughout the organization.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Data Management & Integrity
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of master data across all legal, finance, accounting, and tax systems and databases.
- Including legal entity details, organizational document terms, loan and equity document terms, side letter terms, investor rosters, tax requirements, and other essential data points.
Onboarding New Investments & Cross Department Collaboration
- Collaborate with transaction, finance, accounting, and tax teams to gather and input data on new investments and funds, adhering to established data entry standards and protocols.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure that master data supports business needs and complies with regulatory, accounting, and tax requirements.
Data Quality Assurance
- Regularly audit data for accuracy and consistency.
- Identify and rectify discrepancies.
- Implement improvements to data validation processes.
Process Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and maintain clear documentation of data standards, processes, and procedures to facilitate consistent and efficient data use and management.
- Stay updated on best practices in data management.
- Propose enhancements to improve data accuracy, efficiency, and reporting capabilities.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 2+ years of experience in data management, preferably within real estate, private equity, or a related financial services field.
- Proficiency in data management software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, data governance tools, Excel, SQL) and experience with artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and data validation processes.
Preferred
- Knowledge of real estate or investment data structures, including legal entities, financing arrangements, and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data quality assurance techniques.
- Experience utilizing legal, finance, accounting, tax, customer relationship management, and data visualization systems, examples of which include but are not limited to hCue, Yardi, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday Adaptive Planning, and Power BI.
