We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our dynamic team and drive growth initiatives.
Position Summary
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will drive new business and revenue growth for Healthrise by selling comprehensive solutions and services to new clients. This role involves leveraging inside sales tactics to identify lead prospects and facilitate introductory sales meetings that secure project engagements. The individual will sell solutions across our four service lines – Revenue Cycle Consulting, EHR Services, Revenue Cycle Management, and Technology and Analytics – to C-Level executives, operational leaders, and other buyer decision makers.
The SRD is a key role that manages top-of-the-funnel activities ahead of closing the sale. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up sales closers for success. The SDR should be a quick learner who has strong communication skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Prospecting: Identify potential health providers and appropriate contacts who are a good fit for Healthrise services
- Lead Qualification: Researching prospects and leads to understand unique needs, challenges, and determine if they have a need for solutions we provide.
- Lead Nurturing, Outreach, & Tracking: Reach out to leads – typically via calls, email campaigns, content marketing, and product/service demos – and keep track of responses and status.
- Booking Meetings: Secure introductory meetings with new leads and Healthrise sales executives to introduce Healthrise services and support opportunities.
- Pipeline Development & Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective customers and qualified leads. Conduct regular follow-up and engagement to secure introductory meetings.

- Collaboration: Work closely with Healthrise Executive leadership on the identification of new health system leads, contacts, and prospects. Partner with Sales Executives to effectively hand off and transition leads that convert t
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the customer relationship management (CRM) system (Salesforce). Track and report on key metrics, including lead conversion, introductory meetings, and client interactions.
- Soft Skills: Demonstrates ability to build and improve soft skills including self-discipline, people skills, persistence, coachability, and curiosity.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends and prospective partner activity; leverage the combination of these key opportunities to proactively identify qualified opportunities. - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or at least five years of relevant work experience
- Strong communication skills via phone and email
- Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to respectfully collaborate in a team-based office and remote environment and work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite focused on Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Preferred Skills
- Two or more years of experience in sales, with a track record of exceeding lead targets
- Experience as a sales development representative, with a track record of achieving sales quotas
- Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM software
- Experience selling revenue cycle consulting and implementation services within the healthcare industry
Salary
The estimated salary range for this position is $50,000-$120,000, which includes a base salary range of $50,000-$60,000 plus commissions. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Healthrise reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, sales commissions, market changes, and required travel.
