Project Coordinator
Full-Time, 40 hr/wk

SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week; some evenings and weekends.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The Project Coordinator will assist the Housing Divisional Director in the planning, organizing and implementing of a variety of projects related to the successful implementation of agency programming and services. Examples of projects include: grant writing, procedure and policy writing, researching best practices, and fundraising.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop plans for success and completion of assigned projects, including maintaining a project timeframe, objectives and communications. Create and manage documentation and reports for all assigned projects.
2. Research best practices in order to assist with development and review of program procedures.
3. Responsible for planning all aspects of staff training activities under the direction of supervisor.
4. Support Directors in managing projects, as assigned by supervisor.
5. Attend meetings on behalf of/or with the Divisional Director when requested, maintaining accurate minutes, records or reports related to meetings as appropriate.
6. Utilize and manage volunteers to help with projects as appropriate.
7. Assist in building financial and in-kind support for housing programs through preparation of or assisting with grants and fundraising activities.
8. Attends agency staff meetings, and staff development activities.
9. Complies with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements, and educational/certification/registry requirements.
10. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Background of management, grant writing, and policy writing.
2. Excellent communication skills, strong relationship builder and communicator with diverse teams.
3. Demonstrates integrity, adaptability, attention to details and self-motivation.
4. Ability to work independently with strong decision making abilities.
5. Valid Ohio Driver’s License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability.
6. Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal back ground check (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation).
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL/LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS: Prefer an undergraduate degree and advanced degree; although, relevant experience can substitute for educational experience.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: At least 5 years of demonstrated success in project management. Experience in grant writing and non-profit management required.
