NRF is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to support B2B event marketing campaigns and diverse industry programs and initiatives. This role involves creating engaging, personalized experiences through an omni-channel approach and supporting the marketing team throughout entire campaign lifecycles.
Primary responsibilities include driving brand awareness, increasing engagement and increasing attendance for NRF events and programs. The ideal candidate should be well versed in brand and digital marketing best practices, excited about event marketing, have strong project management skills and experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud. They must thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proven track record of successful marketing projects.
Essential Functions:
- Help develop and execute hyper-personalized marketing campaigns for in-person and virtual events as well as additional NRF programs to meet headcount and revenue targets.
- Manage multichannel marketing efforts across platforms, including email, social media, paid media, direct mail and others to expand our reach, grow our database and drive conversions for key initiatives.
- Support event website launches, unique landing page creation and optimize existing web assets in coordination with multiple internal teams.
- Oversee campaign email calendars and email creative briefs, identify targets and testing opportunities, assist with email creation/deployment and work with agency email partners to improve email performance through Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Utilize data analytics and insights in coordination with a data analyst to craft marketing campaigns. Measure, optimize and report on campaign performance to stakeholders, presenting results in a compelling narrative that informs future decision-making.
- Assist with budget tracking and managing project timelines, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of marketing initiatives, and collaborate with the internal design team on marketing asset creation and distribution.
- Craft compelling content and relevant narratives for target audiences that maintain the voice and tone of the various NRF brands.
- Coordinate with agency partners, barter partners and marketing vendors to handle contracts and communications, capitalizing on their strengths to maximize value and reach objectives.
- Stay ahead of the competitive landscape by sharing new marketing trends and emerging technologies that could be incorporated into marketing efforts to elevate event attendance and interest in NRF.
- Serve as a marketing resource for other departments and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support projects and keep programs on schedule.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field; or equivalent work experience
- Three years of experience in a marketing role.
- Experience and proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a must.
- Agency experience/management and association experience are a plus.
- Experience with website content management systems and marketing automation are a plus.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to balance and prioritize time-sensitive tasks to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail to deliver quality work and achieve results.
