We are a comprehensive pediatric center of excellence providing high-quality rehabilitation services to children with special needs. Our clinics require a part time Facility Maintenance Manager to ensure that our facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming.


Job Description:
The Facility Maintenance Manager will be responsible for performing a variety of mainenance tasks across multiple pediatric rehab clinics in Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Middleburg, FL and surrounding areas. This position is crucial in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment for our patients and staff. The position consists of approximately 25 hours per week.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and repairs in a timely manner.
  • Perform preventive maintenance checks on equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed during repairs and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to coordinate maintenance activities without disrupting patient care.
  • Maintain inventory of tools and supplies, ensuring all necessary materials are on hand.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance work completed.
  • Oversee and collaborate with outside vendors or contractors

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
  • Proven experience in maintenance or handyman work, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks across different locations in Duval, Clay, St. Johns and Nassau county.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must pass required background checks.

Physical Job Requirements: 

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) regularly.
  • Capability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, and reach overhead for extended periods.
  • Comfort working on ladders at various heights.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for using power tools and performing repairs.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoors and in potentially noisy or dusty areas.
