Description

JOB SUMMARY 

The Commercial Support Coordinator is a full-time hourly, non-exempt position reporting to the Commercial Sales Manager with the responsibility of managing the day-to-day tasks for the commercial flooring sales team. ?


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned

  • Assist with commercial project orders and add project documents to the company-wide software system
  • Send repairs and other work needs to packet group to ensure proper information is documented
  • Communicate with warehouse, billing, and other departments as well as external contacts, such as suppliers, to ensure proper documentation for all sales team’s paperwork, drawings, and other documents
  • Send reminders and changes on any commercial projects
  • Communicate repairs and ensure commercial department is organized and follows procedures

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • 2+ years of experience in an office or sales support position.
  • Previous administrative experience in construction preferred
  • Math skills acquired through high school diploma or equivalent to understand pricing, measurements, bids and proposals, billing and other related financial transactions.
  • English communication skills acquired through high school diploma or equivalent to communicate both verbally and in writing to independently handle customer and team requests and issues
  • Proficient with standard computer applications (email, spreadsheets) through previous work experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with a team-focused approach
  • The ability to work independently while taking direction as needed
