Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift and/or move various body weight frequently
- Minimum experience with senior care including private care or one-on-one. Experience as a caregiver in other senior facilities is preferred. CNA certification is highly valued

What are the Qualifications?
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Must undergo a Physical exam and Tuberculosis Screening, resulting in a negative TB diagnosis prior to employment
- Must obtain clearance or exemption approval from the Department of Social Services following FBI and DOJ livescan background check prior to employment
- Must read, understand and sign the Report of Suspected Physical Abuse of a Dependent Elder (SOC341A)

What Will I Be Doing?
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care, while ensuring their dignity and comfort
- Support residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed, adhering to safety standards and procedures, including coordinating two-person transfers when necessary. Escort residents to and from activities, dining areas, and other locations as required
- Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive, nurturing, and engaging environment for residents
- Assist residents with eating by cutting food into manageable pieces, providing direct feeding support when necessary, and encouraging adequate nourishment and hydration, while maintaining respect and dignity
- Regularly monitor assigned residents, documenting observations and noting any changes in physical or emotional conditions
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, bed making, and ensuring the living environment is clean and free of hazards
