NRF is seeking a team-player interested in joining NRF’s dynamic content team and manage the event logistics across the Education team for 365-content delivery and live-event delivery. Additional responsibilities include managing initiatives across department and with internal teams to ensure all services are provided and executed successfully. 


Essential Functions:  

  • Serve as logistics and operations lead for content Team for life cycle of all live events. 
  • Manage production needs for live events, to include set up and management of rehearsals, presentations, media, scripts, programming and project manages weekly workflow. 
  • Collaborate with the digital content and marketing teams in the preparation of conference related materials including: speaker bios, session descriptions; identifies relevant materials and information from NRF staff, Board leadership and Councils.  
  • Manage the content requirements for keynote speakers/sponsors; includes assistance with presentations, script and show preparations; organize and schedules production and scripting calls.  
  • Collaborate in the development of methods to evaluate content and compile post event session feedback. 
  • Manage external speakers and logistics including travel, accommodations, materials distribution and onsite needs. 
  • Ensure all required permissions are known to leverage recorded content, pictures and presentation materials to ensure relevant themes, audience demographics and program architecture. 
  • Work with key stakeholders on general session keynotes; creates production flows and schedules for all keynote sessions. 
  • Manage coordination of onsite production needs and show logistics, including creation of production show flows and schedules; serves as main point of contact with vendors and contractors and event venue.   
  • Provide analytical and specialized project support for content department. 
  • Manage all logistics for internal/external meetings and serve as primary contact speaker communication.  
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.  
  • At least two years’ project management experience; event management experience a plus. 
  • Strong understanding of technical, staging and production elements of events. 
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational and planning skills with outstanding attention to detail. 
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with databases is a must. 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously; and follow through on issues timely. 
  • A team player with strong written and oral communication skills. 
  • Self-starter with willingness to take ownership of multiple tasks without sacrificing accuracy. 
  • Excellent problem solver with the ability to find working solutions to challenges. 
  • Excellent time management skills, adherence to deadlines and is persistent in following up. 
  • Ability to develop and manage solid and reciprocal relationships with designated partners vendors. 
  • Ability to travel (up to 10%).

Salary Description
$70,000 - $85,000 annually
