JOB SUMMARY
The Vice President of Sales plays a pivotal leadership role in shaping the strategic vision, driving revenue growth and ensuring overall sales performance across one or more Business Units (BUs). This position focuses on cultivating strong customer relationships, implementing effective sales strategies, mentoring diverse and high-performing teams, and expanding market presence for a wide range of products and services, including flooring, cabinets, countertops, lighting, and other interior solutions.
This position requires a collaborative and results-oriented leader with expertise in strategic planning, market mapping/segmentation and competitive analysis, team development, and relationship building. The Vice President of Sales will ensure alignment with Artisan Design Group's business goals and drive innovation and adaptability across brands.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning and Sales Growth:
- Develop and implement inclusive and innovative sales strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and market expansion goals.
- Identify and leverage new opportunities, market trends, and competitive intelligence to maintain ADG's industry leadership.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with stakeholders, including homebuilders, developers, and clients, ensuring value-driven and tailored solutions.
- Partner with customers to understand their priorities and align ADG's offerings to deliver exceptional results.
Product and Market Expansion:
- Promote and represent a robust product portfolio, including flooring, cabinets, countertops, and other interior solutions, across builder and non-builder markets. This includes a strategic focus on expanding single-family sales channels and leveraging opportunities within this key market segment.
- Explore and capitalize on opportunities to expand product channels and improve market reach.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Inspire, mentor, and lead an inclusive, high-performing sales team that values collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth.
- Recruit, train, and empower sales talent to thrive professionally and contribute to the organization's goals.
- Set clear expectations to ensure alignment between team activities and organizational strategies while addressing challenges and opportunities with equitable, solutions-oriented approaches.
Performance and Process Management:
- Establish and track measurable performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the impact of sales strategies and team performance.
- Promote operational excellence through refined sales processes, technology integration, and creative problem-solving.
Sales Operations and Forecasting:
- Deliver accurate and comprehensive sales forecasts, budgets, and performance insights to senior leadership.
- Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring alignment with ADG’s core values and objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and product development teams to ensure cohesive strategies and successful application.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred with 15 years of progressive experience in sales or business development
- Demonstrated success in leading and growing sales teams in enterprise-level environments, preferably in the interiors, construction, or related industries
- Expertise in managing complex sales cycles and negotiating contracts with diverse clients
- Strong strategic thinking, market analysis, and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with a focus on inclusion and collaboration
- Proficiency in CRM tools, sales analytics platforms, and decision-making based on data insights
- Proven ability to foster innovation and adaptability in dynamic markets
- Familiarity with ADG’s range of products (e.g., flooring, cabinets, countertops, and other interior solutions) is a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to build relationships and support sales efforts

- Frequent travel for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events (up to 50%)
