Job Summary

The Director of Network Services will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the overall network strategy at Exegy. Reporting directly to the VP of IT and Security, they will be responsible for overseeing the design and management of the global network for IT and business facing connectivity to meet strategic business initiatives. This includes business applications, data transport strategy, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and IT vendor management as it relates to network.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strong change agent and a visionary leader with the ability to lead and inspire technology professionals to succeed in a fast-changing market, keeping the team focused on breakthrough strategies and tactics to best leverage the resources of the company
• Ensure that the IT processes are effectively designed, documented, operating and monitored such that there are no significant or material weaknesses in the IT controls related to financial reporting, including disaster prevention and recover, and IT security
• Manage all IT policies and procedures in accordance with Exegy’s quality and regulatory compliance
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure
• Ensure the security and integrity of the network, including monitoring and responding to security incidents
• Develop and manage the network budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources
• Evaluate and recommend technology investments to support organizational objectives
• Ensure clear communication with cross-functional team leaders, executive management, and third-party providers
• Develops short and long-term strategic initiatives and roadmaps for networks which reflect the goals and vision of Company's IT strategy and related product services
• Acts as network architect for network services and cloud while providing support and partnership to business leaders
• Directs the successful implementation of architecture and design for network and cloud incorporating Exegy’s security requirements
• Participates in a leadership capacity on company efforts and projects requiring networking services input or awareness
• Collaborates with program sponsors and functional and technical stakeholders to ensure that program and project objectives are on track and technical obstacles are being communicated, addressed appropriately, and resolved
• Leads by example and provides guidance and mentoring to the project team and the larger IT organization
• Effectively manages integration partners and other technology vendors to ensure that Company's requirements are being met and that standards are being adhered to
• Holds vendors accountable for service delivery, including but not limited to quality of service and effectiveness of resources
• Assesses the value and impact of emerging technologies including leading efforts to evaluate and guide areas of technology investment
• Manages a team of network engineers through coaching and mentoring to help foster a growth mindset and increase the maturity of design and operational concepts and processes
• Designs and lead technology projects for corporate IT and networking service infrastructure, and integrations across multiple platforms
• Establishes and matures best practices and standardized frameworks, tools and operational processes for network services
• Leverages gap analysis and IT investment roadmaps to ensure understanding and gain alignment on opportunities of improvement and potential service risks

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

• 10+ years of proven senior IT leadership experience
• Strong background in networking, cloud, and design within these areas
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong communication and leadership skills required to drive the team to deliver technology solutions
• Client service mindset with proven ability to communicate complex concepts to a range of senior business stakeholders
• Experience related to cyber security governance, risk and compliance, audits and assessments, and/or support and delivery of networking services
• Strong people and vendor management, including negotiation, planning and execution skills
• Proven ability to manage complexity and change
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing IT budgets
• Financial services or knowledge of capital markets preferred
