Description
SUMMARY
This individual is responsible for the annual giving programs (Partner in Education Sponsorships, Legacy Brick), processing all charitable gifts, including those to the Lions Annual Fund, database management, acknowledgments and receipting, donor reports, donor renewal outreach, general inquiries related to areas of donor giving, and providing the administrative support to the Director of Advancement. This position begins mid-January, is 20-25 hours per week, and pays $17/hour.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee Advancement email
- Attend Bi-weekly Advancement Team meetings
- Manage all charitable gift processing, including but not limited to data entry, data cleanup, donor account updates/changes
- Oversee the donor acknowledgment process, including but not limited to donor receipts, thank you emails & letters
- Oversee and manage development platforms (Raiser’s Edge NXT, Blackbaud Giving Platform, etc.)
- Generate monthly donor report updates for Headmaster and/or Director of Advancement
- Produce donor communications (RE Online Express emails, email communication, mailers, etc.) in consultation with the Director of Advancement
- Provide the Headmaster and/or Director of Advancement with donor profiles upon request
- Work with the Director of Advancement on Partner in Education Sponsorship strategies, sales, renewals, acknowledgments, and banners
- Document and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and policies for donor record management in partnership with the Director of Advancement and Business Office
- Mail annual tax receipts to PRCA donors upon request
- Perform additional related duties as assigned by the Director of Advancement
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience working in Raisers Edge is preferred
- Experience in office data work, customer relations, and proficiency in computer operating systems preferred
- Database management skills, ability to exercise good judgment, demonstrate an understanding of ethics related to advancement activities, and use discretion in interactions with donors, prospects, volunteers, and others
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present effectively to small and large groups
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to sit and work on a computer for multiple hours
Salary Description
$17 per hour
