Material Handler and Driver

InCord has an opening for a Material Handler & Driver. As Material Handler & Driver (MHD), you’ll be assisting the warehouse team with pulling inventory from the warehouse and transportation of daily inventory requirements from and to any InCord. Requirements

Job Responsibilities:


The Material Handler will assist in the day-to-day duties of the warehouse and material handling such as:

  • Pickup and Delivery.
  • Material Transfers Between Facilities.
  • Picking of Materials for Other Facilities.
  • Needs to be available to act as a fill in for other warehouse personnel.
  • Other duties, as assigned.


Pickup and Delivery

  • Receive a list of daily inventory requirements from the warehouse to be pulled and delivered to the other InCord facilities.
  • Responsible for arranging pick up and drop offs for American Powder Coating and Cam Metals when needed.
  • Maintain communication with the Receiving Coordinator and Inventory Manager regarding items that need to move, the related documentation, record keeping, and identification required to maintain inventory management practices.
  • Responsible for cross checking outgoing orders from the other facilities with packaging and Quality Control before bringing the orders to shipping.


Truck Maintenance

  • The maintenance and servicing of company owned work-related vehicles will be arranged by the inventory Manager and facilitated by the Material Handler & Driver.


General Maintenance

  • Responsible for the haul of overrun material to the appropriate landfill, recycle or reimbursement disposal facility.

The MHD will be responsible for maintaining both a valid fork truck operating license, driver’s license, and DOT medical card. It is understood that all traffic laws will be followed and respected. In addition, as a representative of InCord, respect and courtesy will be extended to other drivers, delivery personnel and vendors.



Education and Experience:

  • Minimum High school degree or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • DOT Medical Card certification required upon hire.
  • Forklift Certified/ willing to be certified.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Good communication skills; good written and verbal English.

Salary Description
$16.50 - $18.50 per hour
