JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
For this opportunity, you will work directly with our Director of Used Car Sales to fulfill the following job responsibilities & qualifications required for the role:

- Sales Strategy Support: Provide robust support in the development and execution of tailored sales strategies for the used car division, ensuring alignment with the company's overarching sales objectives.
- Team Guidance: Extend guidance and support to the sales team--empower the team to achieve their targets and address any challenges.
- Sales Target Collaboration: Establish realistic and attainable sales targets for the division and track progress.
- Market Insight Contribution: Actively contribute insights from market analysis and customer preferences related to used cars--refine pricing strategies and positioning approaches.
- Inventory Management Participation: Manage the composition of the used car inventory. Strive for a well-balanced inventory that resonates with diverse customer segments.
- Dealer Relationship Nurturing: Nurture relationships with used car dealerships and partners to ensure a consistent and dependable supply of high-quality vehicles.
- Training Initiatives Support: Assist in the development and execution of training programs designed to enhance the sales team's skills and in-depth product knowledge.
- Performance Metrics Contribution: Collaborate in the establishment and diligent monitoring of performance metrics and KPIs for the sales team. Contribute insights that facilitate the identification of areas primed for improvement.
- Sales Process Enhancement: Contribute actively to the ongoing refinement of sales processes, playing an instrumental role in enhancing efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Service Excellence: Provide unwavering support in maintaining a customer-centric approach throughout the sales process.
- Reporting Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Director of Used Car Sales to compile and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis.
- Budget Management Assistance: Actively assist in the management of the used car sales division's budget, revenues, and expenses.
- Marketing Partnership: Collaborate effectively with the marketing team to ideate and execute promotional campaigns and marketing strategies that amplify sales and enhance brand visibility.
- Legal Compliance Assurance: Play a pivotal role in ensuring that all sales activities adhere rigorously to current laws, regulations, titling and company policies.
- Innovation Awareness and Identification: Keep a vigilant eye on industry trends, technological advancements, and shifting customer preferences. Actively identify opportunities for innovation and adaptation.
- 60% travel is required to support 34 of our 36 physical store locations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Leadership experience in sales and management, preferred experience managing a used car lot Including all titling and regulations duties.
- General mechanical understanding and application
- Be willing and able to work in an industrial environment (both indoors & outdoors) with exposure to all weather conditions.
- Good computer skills with the ability to navigate mobile devices and Microsoft Office products.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with people at all levels within and outside the organization
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred
