POSITION DESCRIPTION:
IMG is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager who will be responsible for nurturing and growing current client accounts. As the Personal Lines Account Manager, you will interact directly with the client on all matters relating to the insurance services and products we provide, from detailed insurance coverage questions to insurance claims. You will be responsible for developing relationships with these assigned clients and are accountable for their client experience and retention. You are thus required to not only have the in-depth technical insurance knowledge across our many insurance carriers, but must also have the empathy, communication skills, and intentionality to connect on a personal level. We strive to deliver a WOW experience that leads to lifetime clients.
DAY IN THE LIFE OF:
- Direct communication with assigned clients (i.e. insureds) to understand and resolve nearly all requests and inquires, via multiple communication channels (phone, in person, text)
- An in-depth understanding of insurance coverage details, including variations across the many insurance carriers that we can place insurance with
- Ability to understand each client’s specific needs and match them with the appropriate carrier, lines of business and coverages
- Ability to personally connect and develop lasting relationships with clients
- Annual review and analysis of client insurance solutions to validate current solution and update as needed
- Re-marketing of client accounts with other insurance providers to ensure client has optimal solution
- Taking insurance claim calls from clients and ensuring claim is appropriately created and managed by insurance carrier
- Continuing education to maintain insurance license (24 hours every 2 years) and to stay up to date on insurance carrier changes
- Generating referrals
- Partnering with sales agents on certain accounts that have a shared relationship
- Growth of existing accounts through account rounding and additional coverage options

- Certification/License: Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Agent (or willingness to acquire)
