We are looking for an Associate - Financial Reporting to be a key player on the Tax and Accounting Team, a division of our Tax and Legal department. This role is responsible for preparing custom financial reports to meet the audit, budgetary, and periodic needs of our clients and assisting with complex financial transactions to determine proper accounting and tax treatment. If you are someone who is highly precise, accurate, analytical, and seeks a high level of technical expertise, this role may be for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trial Balance and workpaper review in connection with audit support engagements 50% 
• Routinely create, prepare and review custom financial statement, budget and ad-hoc reports for our clients 35% 
• Record and review complex financial transactions across various asset types 15% 

• 1 or more years of tax accounting experience 
• Bachelor's Degree preferred, or comparable work experience
• Above average attention to details, concern for the exact correctness of work, and strong commitment to tasks completed on time. 
• Extremely task-oriented and able to prioritize multiple projects with deadlines, while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
• Mastery of computer and web-based financial software products   
• Strong technical accounting skills 
• Works well in a team environment as well as independently  
• Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions in a fast-paced environment  
• Ability to learn quickly and take initiative
