JOB SUMMARY

Warehouse Associate is responsible for incoming and outgoing materials in the warehouse. Responsible for ensuring the warehouse functions in a safe, clean and orderly manner. This is a hands-on position requiring various duties within the department including: office administration, warehouse duties, and customer service.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Unload deliveries
  • Inspect material for damages
  • Ensure material is correct style, color, quantity.
  • Store, restock, and shelve material as needed.
  • Mark material with identifying information.
  • Inspect and record quantity and quality of goods received.
  • Communicate with appropriate department lead regarding product damage.
  • Perform general warehouse duties

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Must be detail-orientated and organized
  • Knowledge in floor products preferred, but not necessary.
  • Bilingual a plus (Spanish, Portuguese)
  • Basic math skills
  • Forklift experience – verifiable forklift certification preferred
