Description

 Provide leadership and vision to high volume blow mold manufacturing plant. This position will be tasked with leading our WCC members in a manner that emphasizes our Core Values as they strive to successfully fulfill our mission statement. This mission statement outlines our dedication to providing a product that is low in cost, high in quality, and delivered in a manner to assure supply continuity. The plant manager will direct the production process, facilitate a team environment that emphasizes WCC Expectations, and always focuses on the safety of our members and quality of our products. WCC Plant Managers are expected to identify manufacturing opportunities, form continuous improvement teams, and implement solutions that fulfill our mission statement. This position has direct responsibility of the annual operational budgeting process, monthly financial analysis, and capital project implementation. This position will take on the challenge of member development to increase the skill sets of WCC members while engaging each member through open communication, participation in CI teams, goal setting, and KPI monitoring. The plant manager is expected to help facilitate technical evaluations of our equipment and ensure that our preventative maintenance program is fully implemented. Last, but not least, the plant manager is tasked with challenging the status quo, thinking outside of the box, and identifying ways to better fulfill our mission and vision at WCC.

Who are you?

  • First and foremost, you are very interested in a manufacturing career with the ultimate goal to not only grow your career      but to learn new things as well. 
  • Five years or more in manufacturing environment preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related technical field preferred
  • Three years or more of supervisory experience preferred
  • Previous Managerial or supervisory experience  can substitute for Bachelors degree
