Position Summary
Coordinates, advises and assists in the management of business development activities for the Credit Union. Responsible for enhancing the image of the Credit Union in both business and local communities and growing the membership through employer referrals/on sites. Oversees administration and execution of community events and sponsorships. Provides support to Marketing and Credit Union personnel as necessary.
Duties & Responsibilities
Onsites
- Learn and execute all aspects of KEEP (Kalsee’s Employee Empowerment Program)
- Establish relationships with and deliver excellent service to company partner leadership and ERN Success Coaches
- Strong knowledge of financial services and wellness topics such as budgeting, credit scores, loan and deposit products, eServices, avoiding fraud/scams, etc.
- Prepare and give engaging group financial wellness presentations that yield business results
- One-on-one financial counseling and membership/account openings
- Cross sell other KALSEE products and services
- Participate in regular community networking activities and Employer Resource Network (ERN) meetings
- Maintain an organized report of business development engagement efforts, opportunities, and results via CRM, reviewed with manager during regular coaching sessions
- Meet weekly sales/service activity expectations
Events & Sponsorship
- Coordinate planning and execution of public/private events and credit union seminars
- Transport event materials, work event booths
- Provide event content (photos, videos) to Marketing Specialist for social media
Quality & Compliance
- Take complete and accurate membership applications per current account opening procedures
- Continuously look for ways to better the efficiency of processes and the quality of member service
- Conduct all activities in compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. Regulations include but are not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering/Office of Foreign Assets Control regulations
- Participate in annual training as required by the BSA/OFAC Compliance Officer

Qualifications & Key Competencies
- CRM experience preferred (Salesforce, etc.)
- MCUL financial counseling certification (may be obtained post-hire)
- The Member Advantage certification (may be obtained post-hire)
- Reliability and dedication to follow-through on sales/service activities are critical
- Excellent member service and communication skills
- Driven to succeed, goal focused

- Outgoing, relatable personality
- Must be organized and manage time well and independently
- Must present a professional image and be a proper representative of KALSEE within the community
Preferred Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience preferred. 2 years of financial institution service experience preferred.
