Job Summary

We are looking for a Support Engineer, working within the Global support organization in Manila, working on several of our key and strategic products within Exegy. Day to day duties will include, but not be limited to working with our key accounts which include many tier one banks/financial institutions.


You will deal with clients initial questions & queries and work on various aspects of our software development/support life cycle until delivery, with the opportunity to highlight improvements along the way.
 

Monitoring of our clients’ dedicated production environments and internal tooling to ensure the success of day to day operations and our change management utilities, identify repetitive tasks with the vision of automation.
 

You will interact with internal account holders and our clients and communicate effectively to deliver key messaging and interact with clients on calls/video conferencing.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of technical enquiries & issues end to end– Identify, diagnose and resolve incidents raised by Exegy clients
  • Working closely with our Product and Engineering teams on software and process enhancements
  • Incident resolution & Outage call handling - notifying internal and external stakeholders and being responsible for resolution, communications and follow-ups
  • Project Management / Good Organization Skills
  • Be a point of contact with other teams to ensure a tight implementation and delivery of a software solution into production
  • Be a knowledge share champion to our internal knowledge base on common issues and practices and help cross-train on our      suite of products
  • Rolling out software and configuration changes / change request management

Required Skills/Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Direct customer facing experience
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast paced day-to-day activity
  • Proven track record of exceptional performance, high productivity and meeting deadlines
  • Working knowledge of various operating systems:  Unix, Linux, Win Systems, etc.
  • Track record of working within a highly effective team


Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Knowledge of  monitoring software
  • Systems Administration Experience
  • Financial Markets Domain Knowledge or financial Protocols expertise
  • OS/Hardware engineering – experience in optimizing hardware for best software performance
