Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to expand our commercial landscape maintenance division. This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and driving the growth of our commercial maintenance services. You will work closely with the leadership and operations teams to ensure a seamless client experience from sales to service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Client Acquisition:
- Develop new client relationships and expand our footprint in the commercial landscape maintenance sector.
- Sell full-service commercial landscape maintenance contracts to new and existing clients.
- Consistently generate and follow up on leads to secure new business opportunities.
- Client Relations & Handoffs:
- Build strong relationships with commercial clients to establish trust and long-term partnerships.
- Facilitate smooth transitions by coordinating with Account Managers for effective onboarding and service delivery.
- Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work with department heads to align growth efforts between Maintenance and Install teams.
- Participate in quarterly strategy meetings with leadership to align objectives and track progress.
- Market Expansion:
- Identify and pursue opportunities to grow our client base in various commercial sectors.
- Develop and strengthen our subcontractor network to support service delivery.
- Contribute to building a robust winter work funnel by pursuing seasonal opportunities.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales or business development, ideally in landscaping, maintenance, or related services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with CRM systems or sales tracking tools is a plus (training provided).
Work Environment:
This is a full-time role based in Pittsburgh, PA. The position requires adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of our company and clients. The first 90 days will serve as a probationary period to evaluate mutual fit.
