Position Summary

The Early Childhood Montessori and High School Admissions and Outreach Advisor plays a pivotal role in promoting the school’s philosophy, managing the admissions process, and building strong community relationships. This role is responsible for guiding families through the admissions process for both early childhood and high school programs while driving outreach efforts to attract and engage prospective families.

Requirements
  1. Admissions Coordination
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective families, ensuring a warm and informative admissions experience.
    • Manage the full admissions cycle, including inquiries, school tours, interviews, application processing, and enrollment.
    • Coordinate classroom observations and shadowing experiences for prospective students.
    • Provide guidance to families regarding financial aid options, scholarships, and tuition assistance programs.
  2. Outreach and Community Engagement
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive outreach plan to attract prospective families to the school’s early childhood and high school programs.
    • Build relationships with local preschools, community organizations, and high schools to increase visibility.
    • Represent the school at community events, educational fairs, and Montessori-related conferences.
    • Organize and host open houses, parent education nights, and informational sessions tailored to prospective families.
  3. Parent Education and Support
    • Educate families about the schools’ philosophy, principles, and the unique developmental benefits of both early childhood and high school programs.
    • Conduct workshops or sessions to help parents understand the Montessori approach and its long-term impact.
    • Serve as a resource for families transitioning between programs or levels (e.g., early childhood to elementary or middle to high school).
  4. Collaboration and Relationship Building
    • Work closely with program directors, faculty, and staff to ensure alignment in messaging and student placement.
    • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create promotional materials, newsletters, and digital campaigns.
    • Partner with alumni and current families to leverage testimonials and referrals for outreach efforts.
  5. Marketing and Enrollment Strategy
    • Assist in developing marketing initiatives to promote early childhood and high school programs, including social media, email campaigns, and brochures.
    • Monitor enrollment trends and provide data-driven recommendations for outreach and admissions strategies.
    • Track and analyze admissions metrics, including inquiry-to-enrollment conversion rates and retention statistics.
  6. Event Planning and Execution
    • Plan and execute recruitment events, including open houses, campus tours, and virtual meetings.
    • Organize special events, such as education workshops, to engage prospective and current families.
  7. Data Management and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of prospective students in the admissions database (CRM or similar systems).
    • Generate reports on outreach effectiveness, enrollment statistics, and other key performance indicators for leadership review.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in education, communications, marketing, or a related field.
    • Montessori certification or experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience:
    • At least 2-3 years of experience in admissions, outreach, education, or customer service.
    • Familiarity with Montessori philosophy and principles is strongly preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and admissions management software (CRM platforms preferred).
    • Comfort with public speaking and engaging with diverse audiences.
