Payroll Specialist
Description

Nichols Contracting Inc is seeking a Payroll Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of experience. This individual will support key payroll related initiatives to include payroll processing in SAGE 300.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of Payroll experience
  • Multi-state processing
  • Handling payroll for 200 employees
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Oversee end-to-end processing of weekly and bi-weekly payroll
  • Serve as a liaison to answer timekeeping and payroll related questions, implement enhancements, and resolve any issues.
  • Recommend process and customer service improvements, innovative solutions, and policy changes that will reduce turnaround time.
  • Must have excellent people skills, strong communication, and the drive to problem solve and create a great employee experience.
  • SAGE 300 and construction experience highly preferred.
  • Ad hoc projects as needed related to payroll and accounting

  

 High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred. 

 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) 


  Pay range 55K-75K
