Graduate Telecom Design Engineer
 

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Telecom Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of telecommunications systems. This role provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals starting their careers in telecommunications to gain hands-on experience and grow within the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Design and Configuration
• Assist in designing and configuring telecom networks, including voice, data, and video systems.
• Support the preparation of technical documentation, including diagrams and specifications.
• Review and interpret technical documentation, such as equipment specifications and industry standards (e.g., IEEE, ANSI, NESC).
• Participate in field visits to gather site data and support construction activities, including equipment testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate with other disciplines, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet requirements and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all engineering activities.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Coursework or projects focused on Telecommunication(preferred).

Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of telecom systems and networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, VoIP).
•  Familiarity with telecom equipment and tools.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Internship or project experience related to telecommunication or electrical engineering.
• Understanding of electrical protection systems and relays.
