Description
Summary: The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative support for the Human Resources Department while providing effective operational assistance and service to WITF and its subsidiaries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Provides administrative support to the HR department.
- Assists with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, and fixing processing errors.
- Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
- Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
- Participates in, and serves as secretary to, employee resource committees.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or a similar field and at least one year of experience in the HR field or more experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Attention to detail and experience using HRIS is required. Experience using Paylocity is a plus.
Salary Description
$20-23/hour
