Salary:                         $100,000 to $130,000 Annually

Location:                     Northern Virginia


Position Description Summary:


The Project Manager has demonstrated construction experience to support a variety of projects at Washington Dulles International Airport. The incumbent should be self-motivated, a critical thinker and have the capacity to work within a fast-paced environment. Successful incumbents will be capable of working individually and in team environments. Strong oral communication skills, including the capability to understand and follow oral and written communication, also required.

Requirements

 

Total Quality Management System 

  • Coordinate with PA Leader and staff to ensure client deliverables are reviewed internally and externally (where applicable) prior to submittal to client. 
  • Assist in managing and monitoring relevant performance measures to ensure continuous improvement and professional development related to PA Quality Assurance and Quality Control. 
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge and continuous improvement and professional development related to area of expertise. 

Contract Administration and Project Delivery 

  • Coordinate with managers and staff to ensure all contractually obligated project requirements are met such as project scope, and sub-agreements. 
  • Assist in managing contract scoping, fee development and negotiations. 
  • Assist in managing and coordinating with managers and assigned staff to ensure all proposal requirements are met during the pre-contract phases of projects. 
  • Manage the successful execution and delivery of multiple projects for one or more clients. 

Marketing and Business Development 

  • Execute marketing responsibilities as directed by PA Leader. 
  • Develop and maintain client relations. 
  • Assist PA Leader and managers with staff involvement in marketing and business development activities. 

Project Administration and Management 

  • Manage utilization to realize maximum revenue earning potential. 
  • Assist with the input of staff performance reviews. 
  • Assist with staff professional development activities. 

Education and Experience: 

Four-year college degree required, with a minimum of 5-10 plus years of experience. Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in engineering, architecture, urban planning, aviation management, finance, or directly related quantitative or scientific degree or related field.

Travel: 

From time to time, travel to project sites at locations across the country may be required.

Position reports to the Project Manager, Practice Area Leader, or other member of leadership identified during the hiring process or performance review process.
