Sales Support Specialist
Description

 

The Sales Support Specialist position is responsible for working directly with sales reps regarding their deal flow and being the main point of contact between the sales reps and the Amur Equipment Finance office.  Guide and direct workflow with the credit processor and doc/funding specialist assigned to their team.  Tracking and reporting deal flow, deal status and overall volume and projections to their sales reps and management


Team Communication

  • Communicates daily with different sales reps/originators and records phone calls, emails, and fax's regarding deal flow and status updates
  • Hold daily meetings with team members to ensure that they have a prioritized list of the deals they are working on and assisting them with issues or situations to bring them to a close
  • Ensures that reporting and communications is frequent and bi-directional
  • Actively engage with borrowers, vendors and external parties in a professional, courteous manner while expressing requisite urgency to the transaction timeline


Credit Processing/Analysis

  • Know Credit Guidelines
  • Understand how to read a Credit Report / Paynet Report

Documentation / Funding

  • Understand Doc/Funding guidelines
  • Understands and can effectively utilize Salesforce, Aspire, and Microsoft products
Requirements


Educational and experience requirements include:  

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Inside or Outside Sales experience (required)
  • Experience in a related industry
  • Strong business development skills
  • Proven ability to develop quotes/proposals accurately for new opportunities
  • Above average written and oral communication skills to interact with customers, prospects, and our internal team
  • Proven project and customer relationship management skills
  • Proven marketing skills and a demonstrated ability to generate sales leads
  • Ability to thoroughly read through credit reports (required)
