Teknion Data Solutions (www.teknionusa.com), a fast-growing boutique Data and Analytics Consulting Firm, is currently seeking to add a seasoned and dynamic Business Development Executive to its Revenue Generation Team. This individual will operate within a 20+person, highly collaborative Team Sell environment, focusing their efforts on turning “Suspects into Prospects” at the front end of the Sales Pipeline through strategic, outbound BDR and RevGen activity.
Responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing follow-up campaigns in support of Teknion’s extremely active Marketing initiatives (workshops, summits, webinars, etc.)
- Mining Teknion’s CRM to identify likely Prospects and customizing outreach based upon their specific engagement activities
- Leveraging Linked In Sales Navigator to build Prospect lists; then collaborate with Marketing and Sales Leadership in developing and conducting multi-touch email and phone call sequences to generate conversations and opportunities
- Identifying RFP opportunities that strategically fit Teknion’s solutions and technologies, and working with other Team Sell members in completing and submitting persuasive and professional responses
- Building relationships with sales representatives of Teknion’s Technology Partners (Tableau, Alteryx, Snowflake, etc.) to drive opportunities
- Creating new and innovative strategies for driving more opportunity for Teknion
- Maintaining customer data, sales activity and forecasts in a CRM system
- Representing Teknion Data Solutions at local and national conference, events and meetings
Qualified individuals will ideally possess these skills, abilities and attributes:
- 2-5 years of management consulting services and/or software sales experience
- Highly collaborative with a “team-first” orientation
- Highly competitive
- Experience in designing, implementing, and managing outbound sales activities
- Experience in a consultative sales environment
- Experience in business-to-business sales at the Executive level
- Experience in selling data visualization, data management, business intelligence, data integration, data warehousing, and data analytics solutions
- Highly analytical with a bent towards technology
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong relationship building skills
- Bachelor’s degree required
