Description

Summary

Working with the Marketing Account Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will support the company’s strategic marketing and business development initiatives on a wide range of marketing projects, with an emphasis on proposal and qualification coordination, writing, proofreading and production.  


Duties and Responsibilities

Primary 

  1. Support the development of proposals and statements of qualifications. This includes coordinating all elements of pursuits: strategy development, project management with the pursuit team, writing, formatting, editing/review, proofreading, brand adherence, and efficient and timely production.
  2. Author and/or edit content for additional marketing activities and collateral (such as keeping boilerplate and project descriptions up to date and organized.)
  3. Create and maintain staff resumes.
  4. Maintain SERA social media platforms.
  5. Track project opportunities using systems relevant to the assigned projects. 
  6. Coordinate and participate in the Go/No-Go process.

Additional  

  1. Provide interview/presentation design and production assistance.
  2. Provide support to coordinate, write and/or edit content for additional marketing activities and collateral, such as award submission, as needed.
  3. Undertake market and client research as directed. 
  4. Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Education, Experience, and other Qualifications

  • BS or BA degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in a marketing department.
  • Established familiarity and interest in best practices within the AE Marketing field.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Advanced skills in the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Advanced creative and technical writing skills, grammar and spelling, and editing and proofreading capabilities.
  • Advanced verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced ability to work under tight deadlines, coordinating several projects at once.
  • Advanced project management skills: Ability to define tasks and timeline for getting projects to the finish line, and ability to execute,      keeping projects on schedule and achieving defined objectives and milestones.
  • Goal oriented, strategic thinker, self-directed.
  • Established collaborative work style in a team environment.
