Manager: Live Experience Integrator
The Production Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining and troubleshooting lighting and media systems for a live production service and event. A live production technician is the primary interface between the technical team and the key stakeholders, such as the office of the lead pastor, during a live event and church service. This technical position is required to recruit and train up a team of volunteers to support a live production environment. A Live Production Technician produces Sunday services and event that require AVLM technical support and they create memorable moments through the fusion of technical and creative arts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Program and operate lighting consoles (eg. GrandMA, ETC, Hog)
- Set up and focus lights (eg LEDs, moving heads, conventional fixtures)
- Design lighting cues and effects based on event's needs and themes
- Operate media servers
- Manage projection mapping and LED wall content
- Troubleshoot video feeds, signal flow, and networking issues
- Collaborate with Marketing, Office of Lead Pastor, Worship Leaders and other technical team members.
- Ensure smooth transitions and service start and end times.
- Rig and derig lighting fixtures, LED screens, and control systems.
- Address power distribution and signal routing issues
- All other tasks as assigned.
Skills & QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of lighting control protocols
- Experience with formatting, playback, and live switching
- Familiarity with stage rigging and safety procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to real time changes.
- Prior work experience or volunteering preferred.
