Description

  

  • Under the      supervision of the Inbound and Outbound Team Leads, responsible for receiving, putting away, rack installation,      loading, and disposition of recyclable racks for Genie counterweight and      weldments. 
  • Receive PO/Pick List from Outbound      Team Lead. Follow counterweight SOP to ensure      an error-free kitting and loading.
  • Examine inbound shipment/materials      for damages; report to Inbound Team lead for damages for liability and necessary      repair/rework. 
  • Apply caution when moving      counterweight, totes, bins, pallets to avoid possible damages.  
  • Optimize outdoor storage spaces      and store counterweight and weldment inventory by SKU and FIFO principle. 
  • Scan PO before handing over      completed racks to carrier to help ensure accurate system inventory.
  • Familiarize him/herself with      counterweight and weldment metrics, SKU and appearances. Constantly inspect and monitor storage      location, ensure all counterweights and weldments are sorted and stored in      the right storage location. 
  • Monitor physical inventory of key      counterweights and report to Inbound Lead when inventory is below alert      line. 
  • Retain video or photo records of      all inbound/outbound shipment/parts in case of client/supplier inquiry or NCI.      
  • Ready to be trained or      cross-trained for other Inbound/Outbound team positions to back up team      members during their absence. 
  • Inspect power equipment beginning      and end of each working day, report to Inbound Team Lead for necessary repair      or maintenance. Safely operate, maintain and      upkeeping of gas, electric, or manual material handling equipment (high      reach truck, forklift, pallet jacks, cranes, pickers, etc.), designated      tools, or other processes.
  • Report to Inbound Team Lead      whenever available to help team members with timely fulfillment of all      orders. 
  • Communicate      to colleagues on day-to-day processes, workflow activities, and safety      protocols.
  • Follow      safety standards among the racks and      in the warehouse
  • Maintain      warehouse, including the security of facility and integrity of      inventory 
  • Ability to      remain in compliance according to the requirements of the company's      warehouse management system
  • Preserves      safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and      workstations neat.
  • Make      suggestions in formulating, revising, and perfecting the warehouse best      practices and shipping workflow to make the daily work of the warehouse      faster and more organized
  • Other tasks      assigned by supervisor/manager
Requirements

  

  • Bilingual -      must be fluent in Mandarin or Spanish (Speak, read, write) and English
  • Must possess      High School Diploma
  • Ability to      lift up to 50lbs. 
  • Forklift Certification or 5 years or more forklift experience
  • Clean      driving record, ability to obtain forklift certification, and OSHA      certifications
  • Must pass      random alcohol and drug testing
  • Ecommerce warehouse, RF Scanners, and WMS (warehouse management system) experience are preferred 
  • Experience      with MS Office software and Warehouse Management Systems  
  • Three years      of warehouse work experience, familiar with the working procedures of      warehouse shipping, location storage, and delivery arrangements
  • Positive and      professional work ethic
  • Ability to      come to work on time each day
Salary Description
$19.5/hr
